The six faces of Arumuga Peruman (Lord Muruga) are generally found facing different directions in our temples. The Lord in this temple graces directing only a single direction. As the Shivalinga in the temple has lines of Brahmmasutra (short form of Vedas and Upanishads by Sage Veda Vyasa) written on its head, it is said that this has the effect of changing the very destiny of His devotees. | | |
